I started out with deciding that I wanted to write a decent-looking website which used only static pages. I decided on using a framework for it, in this case I chose Astro. It was a lot more work than I expected. I followed the blog tutorial, and even now, it does not look professional. I do think that given that I was a beginner starting out, the work was not going to look great.
I did take some HTML and CSS out of this. As domain-specific as these languages are, they are useful to learn formatting.
